CURRENT OPENINGS

ELECTRICIAN – Residential Site Supervisor

 As part of the team the Residential Site Supervisor will share in the responsibilities of:

  • Construction of electrical systems for new home and renovation projects

  • Identifying and acquiring materials required to complete projects

  • Developing accurate project schedules

  • Managing tasks to be completed by apprentices and other journeypersons

  • Keeping detailed records of the work completed

  • Communicating directly with management regarding the requirements to complete the projects efficiently

  • Have a valid BC Driver’s License

ELECTRICAL APPRENTICES - 3rd & 4th YEAR

KYBE Electrical Contracting has been awarded by Small Business BC for our dedication to apprenticeship training and during the last six years has built trusting relationships with both clients and employees alike. Our Journeypersons are empowered and trained to be mentors and many have completed their entire apprenticeship with KYBE.

We work with industry leading contractors that support and share the same values as us. We are committed to safety and have had no WCB time lost accidents.

 The Position

  • 3rd & 4th Year Apprentices who are registered with the ITA

  • Have their own transportation

  • Are willing to travel around the Lower Mainland

Residential Electrician Project Manager (FULL TIME)

As part of the team the Residential Electrician Project Manager will share in the responsibilities of:

  • Project take off and close out

  • Inspecting the PO processes are followed and approving PO’s

  • Owning the Budget in its entirety, including change orders

  • Managing inquires to and from municipal inspectors, contractors, and consultants

  • Sales support and initial client consultations

  • Estimating and Budgeting

  • Review/inspections and accountability of entire project cycle

  • Budget review, cost control, status reporting, and client presentation

  • Inspection of invoicing and collections

  • Project materials sourcing and negotiation with suppliers

  • Are an Experienced Residential Electrician with Project Manager who has led, motivated, monitored and overseen a team of electricians to ensure they produced quality work in the residential sector.

  • Have experience and are interested in completing unique, technologically forward homes. Utilizing home automation, passive home techniques, green energy, etc.

  • Are excited to be a part of a team that mentors apprentices, and other journeymen, and can motivate them to take pride in their work, as you do.

  • Have reliable transportation and are willing to travel between projects and the office. Role does not provide company vehicle currently. Time split will be roughly 70% office vs site visits.
